These socks remind me of the pretty green leaves in the spring and summer while the little pearl beads bring to mind the tiny flower buds Mother Nature hides amongst the leaves. My sister, Julia, said she thought of green shamrocks and clovers. Thus, my socks became “Irish Pearls”.
Socks are sized for a medium adult woman. The pattern stitch is a multiple of 6 stitches. You can easily adjust the size, if needed, by adding or decreasing in multiples of 6 stitches. The legs are lacy & “size friendly”! They easily stretch to fit heavier legs & gently hug smaller legs.
YARN & BEADS: Blue Moon Fiber Arts™ Socks that Rock™ - 1 skein 100% superwash merino lightweight hand dyed fiber approx. 360 yds/4.5 oz or any fingering sock weight yarn. 100 size 6˚ seed beads. Mill Hill #16603 beads were used in model.
NEEDLES: US Size 2 (2.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
